Launch of a capital increase by Gascogne

Groupe Gascogne has announced a capital increase of €20.937 million, with shareholders maintaining their preferential subscription rights. This project aims to support the acquisition of a new paper machine at the Mimizan site, thereby optimising production and energy efficiency. The Autorité des Marchés Financiers has approved the transaction, which also aims to finance associated infrastructure.

Attis 2, which holds a majority share, undertakes to subscribe to the capital increase up to 84.03%. In the event of non-participation of the other shareholders, Attis 2 agrees to subscribe for the entire amount.

This strategy is part of a context of fluctuating commercial performances for the group in 2024, with turnover down 8.5% since the start of the year.
