Traum-Ferienwohnungen introduces website in four more languages

Bremen, Germany, 02 November 2023: Traum-Ferienwohnungen, one of the leading online vacation rental platforms in Germany and Europe, has launched its website in four more languages. Previously available in German and English, the website is now accessible in Dutch, French, Italian, and Spanish. This strategic move aims to strengthen the company's connection with both customers and homeowners by providing content in their preferred languages. While the customer-facing website is now live in these four additional languages, Traum-Ferienwohnungen is actively developing the homeowner sign-up process in these languages as well.

Traum-Ferienwohnungen, which annually reaches over 45 million holidaymakers through its platform, has experienced a consistent rise in inquiries from Dutch, French, Italian, and Spanish-speaking regions in the last one year. According to the data shared by OYO Vacation Homes, Traum-Ferienwohnungen parent entity, about 25% of the total demand comes from countries like The Netherlands, France, Italy, and Spain. As per an internal assessment conducted by the company, the homeowners in Germany can expect a rise of up to 1.2X to 1.3X in inquiries following the launch of the multilingual website, while homeowners across other international markets can expect an even greater increase, ranging between 1.5X to 6X.

Additionally, the European travel and tourism sector has witnessed significant growth this year. According to a recent report by the European Travel Commission, Europe's tourism recovery has continued to gain momentum in 2023, reaching nearly 95% of pre-covid levels. The report also reveals that 69% of Europeans made travel plans in 2023, despite inflationary concerns, with 58% planning to travel within Europe. According to Google Trends, international travel is witnessing year-on-year growth of 13% in the Netherlands, 9% in Italy, and 7% in both France and Spain. The inclusion of four more languages on Traum-Ferienwohnungen's platform will make it more convenient for travellers to make and manage their bookings.

Traum-Ferienwohnungen operates on an annual subscription-model which facilitates direct communication between homeowners and guests, granting homeowners the freedom to select the guests they want to rent their homes to. The subscription-based model allows for more transparency and flexibility, enabling homeowners to make informed decisions and optimising their earnings.

The model also ensures a more personalized experience for the guests where they can communicate their specific requirements, ask questions, and receive insights directly from the homeowners. This level of direct engagement creates a sense of trust, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay for the guests.

The ability to communicate directly in their preferred language will add an extra layer of personal connection between homeowners and guests, further strengthening their relationship.
