Rueil-Malmaison (France), March 24, 2026 - Schneider Electric, a global energy technology leader, announces that the Board of Directors has decided to propose the appointment of François Jackow as a member of the Board. This appointment will be submitted to the shareholders at the Company’s Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) to be held on May 7, 2026.
François Jackow, French citizen based in Paris, is the Chief Executive Officer of Air Liquide since June 2022. After joining the company in 1993, he has held various senior international leadership positions before entering the Executive Committee in 2014 as Group Vice-President of Strategy. He then was appointed in 2019 as Executive Vice President overseeing Europe Industries, Europe Healthcare and AMEA, with responsibilities spanning Innovation & Technologies and Digital & IT.
He will bring to the Board his expertise in industrial manufacturing, energy and technology as well as his experience in transformations both at a strategic and operational level. François Jackow will qualify as an independent Director with regard to all the criteria set by Article 10.5 of the AFEP-MEDEF Corporate Governance Code and, if appointed by the Shareholder Meeting in May 2026, will join the Human Capital & Remunerations Committee.
