Rixos Expands Hurghada Presence with Opening of Rixos Premium Magawish Bay View

New resort strengthens the brand’s Red Sea portfolio as Hurghada continues to attract strong demand from German travellers.

Hurghada — Rixos Hotels Egypt has opened Rixos Premium Magawish Bay View, its second resort in Hurghada, further expanding the brand’s presence on Egypt’s Red Sea coast.

The opening comes as Hurghada continues to rank among the most popular holiday destinations for German travellers. Germany remains one of the key source markets for Egyptian tourism, with approximately 1.7 million German visitors travelling to Egypt each year. Supported by direct flight connections from major German cities including Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Cologne, Hurghada has established itself as a leading sun-and-beach destination for the German market.

Located approximately seven kilometres from Hurghada International Airport, Rixos Premium Magawish Bay View is situated next to Rixos Premium Magawish Suites & Villas. Together, the two properties form a large-scale resort destination offering accommodation, dining, entertainment, sports, wellness and lifestyle experiences.

Responding to Demand for Premium Holiday Experiences

Rixos Premium Magawish Bay View features 442 accommodation units, including rooms, suites and private villas. The resort offers smart-room technology, spacious interiors and suites overlooking the Red Sea.

Facilities include nine swimming pools, including an infinity pool overlooking the Red Sea coastline, direct marina access, water sports, wellness areas and a range of leisure options designed for both short breaks and longer stays.

The resort’s food and beverage offering includes international dining concepts with South American, Peruvian, Indian, Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, alongside international buffet selections.

Opening Follows HolidayCheck Recognition

The launch follows the international recognition achieved by neighbouring Rixos Premium Magawish Suites & Villas. Opened in 2021, the resort ranked fourth worldwide in its category in HolidayCheck’s 2025 ranking of the world’s most popular hotels.
