Mersen selected by the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency to Supply isostatic graphite

MERSEN SELECTED BY THE U.S. DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY  TO SUPPLY ISOSTATIC GRAPHITE

PARIS, DECEMBER 1^ST, 2025 – Mersen (Euronext FR0000039620 – MRN), a global expert in electrical power and advanced materials, has been selected by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) of the United States of America to provide isostatic synthetic graphite. 

This three-year contract, worth approximately $10 million, demonstrates Mersen’s advanced capabilities in the production of synthetic graphite, which is critical to high-performance defense applications and appears in the DLA’s “Materials of Interest” list. It also validates Mersen’s commitment to a localized presence as a key pillar of its growth strategy, enabling the company to capture opportunities and serve customers more effectively.

Isostatic synthetic graphite is a high-density, precision-engineered material used in demanding environments such as aerospace, defense, and semiconductor manufacturing. The material’s uniformity, purity, and strength make it ideal for applications requiring exceptional thermal and mechanical stability. Mersen is the largest isostatic graphite manufacturer in the United States, with production capacity in St Marys, PA and Columbia, TN.
