Munich, 17 December 2024 – As electric mobility continues to gain momentum, the demands for charging infrastructure and pricing models are evolving - especially in urban areas. With its new Pro Plan, JOLT provides ultra-fast charging designed specifically for EV drivers in cities who rely on accessible public charging options.
Attractive Urban Charging Rates
The Pro Plan offers ultra-fast charging with up to 300 kW of power at €0,45/kWh at night and €0,49/kWh during the day. With a low base fee of €5,99 per month and flexible cancellation options (monthly, starting from the booking date), it is ideal for frequent drivers who regularly use high-power charging stations.
Fast Charging Where It’s Needed Most
With battery-supported HPC technology, JOLT customers can recharge up to 100 km of range in just five minutes. The Pro Plan is perfect for urban everyday use when quick top-ups are essential, AC charging stations aren’t an option, and private wallboxes are inaccessible due to living conditions.
Site Partners and Municipalities: Driving Urban Fast Charging Together
JOLT bridges the gap in urban charging infrastructure with a strategic network of HPC stations at prime locations like petrol stations, office complexes, and supermarkets. By integrating battery storage into its solutions, JOLT delivers ultra-fast charging with a compact design, grid-friendly technology, minimal grid upgrades, and short installation times.
Through collaboration with cities and private site partners, JOLT is accelerating the rollout of charging infrastructure in urban centres:
- Municipalities can play a key role by providing public spaces, sending a strong signal in support of electric mobility.
- Site partners benefit from additional revenue streams and increased site appeal for the growing community of EV drivers.
“With the Pro Plan, we are making ultra-fast charging in cities accessible, affordable, and easy to use. Our mission is to build charging infrastructure exactly where people need it most,” says Dr. Roland Gersch, Managing Director at JOLT.
The Pro Plan is now available and can be booked directly via the free JOLT app. For more information, visit: https://jolt.energy/en-gb/drivers/
