ENCAVIS acquires a wind farm under construction (41 MW) in Northern France

Hamburg, 4 December 2025 – The Hamburg-based wind and solar park operator Encavis has acquired a wind farm under construction from ENERTRAG SE in the French municipality of Mézières-sur-Oise, located in the Aisne department. The project, with a planned total capacity of around 41 megawatts (MW), is situated approximately 100 kilometers south of Lille. The wind farm is scheduled to be connected to the grid by the end of 2026.

Simon Hagedorn, CFO of ENERTRAG SE, comments on the sale as follows: “The collaboration with Encavis has proven to be a reliable partnership over the years. With the Vallée de Joie wind farm in Mézières-sur-Oise, we are now continuing our successful cooperation in France and are pleased to implement another high-quality ENERTRAG project. Encavis shares our conviction that sustainable energy projects are based on long-term partnerships and professional execution. Together, we are making a tangible contribution to the energy transition in Europe.”

Mario Schirru, CEO of Encavis, adds: “With the Vallée de Joie wind farm in Mézières-sur-Oise, we are expanding our wind farm portfolio in France to 250 MW and sending a strong signal: We are driving the diversification of our European portfolio forward in big steps. Together with our long-standing partner Enertrag, we are realizing this milestone and making another powerful contribution to even more momentum in the European energy landscape.”

The wind farm consists of six Nordex N163 wind turbines and one Nordex N149 turbine, each with a capacity of 5.9 MW. The expected annual electricity production is around 98 GWh. The power purchase is secured through a feed-in tariff with a term of 20 years.
