Founded in 1750, Swaine was recognised on 11 November 2025 at the Walpole British Luxury Awards, the most prestigious ceremony celebrating excellence in the British fashion and luxury industry. This distinction fully validates the strategic decisions made by Compagnie Chargeurs Invest when acquiring Swaine in 2021.
Committed to revitalizing this historic luxury house, Compagnie Chargeurs Invest has significantly invested in Swaine’s manufacturing foundations, both through its workshop located within its London flagship store and through its factory in Leicester, while elevating the global desirability of its craftsmanship.
The Walpole “Made in the UK” Award—previously granted to Range Rover last year—stands as a definitive validation of this repositioning. The house continues its international expansion and will soon open its first U.S. boutiques in Los Angeles, in the heart of the iconic Beverly Hills district, and in Washington.
