ALTEN enters into exclusive negociations with ATOS for the acquisition of Worldgrid

ALTEN ENTERS INTO EXCLUSIVE NEGOTIATIONS WITH ATOS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF WORLDGRID

ALTEN, worldwide leader in engineering and IT services, has entered into exclusive negotiations with Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, for the acquisition of Worldgrid.

Worldgrid is a European digital, specializing in Energy & Utilities solutions. Worldgrid would bring unique knowhows and skills to ALTEN in these sectors, mainly in France, Spain and Germany. With close to 1,100 employees, Worldgrid has developed strong and long-lasting relationships with their clients and would strengthen the offers of ALTEN, particularly in the Energy field, specifically in Nuclear activities.

The contemplated transaction would ensure the full continuity of service for Worldgrid’s strategic clients for longterm markets as well as offering strong development perspectives derived from the combination of ALTEN and Worldgrid.

The proposed transaction is subject to customary condition precedents and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
