Altarea announces the appointment of Edward Arkwright as Group CEO
Paris, November 27, 2024 – Altarea announces the appointment of Edward Arkwright as Group CEO, following the upcoming retirement of Jacques Ehrmann in early 2025.
Before joining Altarea, Edward Arkwright had been the Executive Director of Aéroports de Paris (ADP) since 2016. He brings with him extensive experience in management, finance, and strategy, as well as recognized expertise in real estate and retail.
Alongside Alain Taravella, Edward Arkwright will oversee and coordinate all of Altarea's businesses and brands, as well as support functions. He will officially take up his role as Group CEO on January 6, 2025.

About Edward Arkwright
Born in April 1974, Edward Arkwright is a graduate of Sciences Po, ESSEC, and holds a DEA in contemporary history. He began his career as an administrator in the Senate. He then became an advisor in the offices of the Ministers of Economy, Finance, and Industry, as well as the Ministers of Budget and State Reform from 2002 to 2004 and from 2005 to 2007. With JeanFrançois Copé, he notably supervised the reform of the state's real estate policy.
In May 2007, he joined the Caisse des Dépôts as Chief of Staff to CEO, Augustin de Romanet, and from 2009, as Director of Strategy and Sustainable Development.
In December 2012, he was appointed to the Executive Committee of Aéroports de Paris (ADP), where he became Deputy CEO for Finance and Strategy in 2013, and then Executive Director in June 2016. He also chairs the boards of TAV Airports, HubOne, ADP International, and ADP Invest. Additionally, he is a board member of Choose Paris Region and Paris and Co.
Within the ADP group, Edward Arkwright was particularly in charge of the group's strategy and businesses, including real estate, transformation, international development, mobility projects, and innovation.
