ZenaTech Expands into Drone Components with New Taiwan Subsidiary

Toronto-based ZenaTech Inc., specializing in AI drone solutions, is venturing into the drone sensor and component market by establishing a subsidiary in Taiwan. The new entity, Spider Vision Sensors Ltd., aims to produce essential drone components like LiDAR, infrared sensors, and cameras. This move aligns with the US National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliance, a critical step for securing US Defense contracts.

The decision to base operations in Taiwan reflects the region's strength in electronics manufacturing and access to cost-effective components, avoiding reliance on Chinese suppliers. Spider Vision Sensors' establishment is currently in the prototype phase, with a manufacturing facility slated to open shortly.

ZenaTech's strategy seeks to enhance production capabilities at its Sharjah, UAE, and upcoming Arizona facilities, ensuring a consistent supply chain and contributing to agile market responses.
