Zehnder Group Acquires Spanish Ventilation Company Siber

Zehnder Group AG announced its acquisition of Siber, a leading Spanish manufacturer of residential ventilation systems. The strategic move aims to strengthen Zehnder's residential ventilation business across Spain, Portugal, and other southern European countries.

Siber is expected to achieve sales of around EUR 37 million for the 2024 financial year. The acquisition is valued at approximately EUR 86 million and was financed using existing credit lines and liquid funds. The closing of the transaction is expected in the coming weeks.

Zehnder's CEO, Matthias Huenerwadel, emphasized the complementary nature of the acquisition in terms of customers, products, and regional presence. The integration of Siber's innovative product portfolio will enhance Zehnder's market position in the mid-price segment for ventilation solutions.

The transaction signals a significant milestone in Zehnder's strategy to expand its regional residential ventilation business and integrate innovative solutions for a healthier indoor climate.
