ZEAL Network SE Reports Strong Start in 2025

ZEAL Network SE, a leading provider of online lotteries in Germany, commenced 2025 with notable financial growth. In the first quarter, the group's revenue surged by 42% to €51.1 million. Additionally, EBITDA nearly doubled to €17.7 million. The customer base also expanded by 13%, reaching 1,507,000 active users.

The core lottery business experienced a 41% revenue increase, fueled by a 7% rise in lottery billings to €246.7 million. The company's games segment revenue grew by 56%, expanding the B2C portfolio to over 400 titles.

Despite increased operational costs, strategic marketing initiatives were effective, boosting new customer acquisition. Operating expenses rose by 21%, with marketing costs up by 16%. Yet, EBITDA still increased by 89% due to enhanced efficiency and sales growth.
