ZEAL CEO Dr Helmut Becker to Step Down in 2026
Dr Helmut Becker, CEO of ZEAL Network SE, announced he will not renew his contract, which concludes on January 31, 2026. After serving as CEO since September 2015, Becker plans to pursue entrepreneurial activities. He has been on the ZEAL Executive Board for over twelve years, including a decade as CEO. Becker will remain dedicated to ZEAL until his departure, ensuring a smooth transition to his successor.
Peter Steiner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed regret at Becker's decision, highlighting the CEO's key role in ZEAL's growth and market leadership. The Supervisory Board will initiate a structured succession process. Under Becker's leadership, ZEAL expanded its customer base and product offerings, reinforcing its position as a leader in Germany's online lottery market.
