ZCCM-IH Announces Change in Directorate
ZCCM Investments Holdings PLC (ZCCM-IH) has announced a change in its board of directors. The Industrial Development Corporation, the majority shareholder, has withdrawn the appointment of Mr. Moses S. Nyirenda as Non-Executive Director, effective July 17, 2024.
Mr. Nyirenda was appointed on December 13, 2021. During his tenure, he served as Non-Executive Director and Chairperson of the Remuneration Committee of the Board. The ZCCM-IH Board expressed its gratitude for his contributions and wished him well in his future endeavors.
The announcement was approved by the Lusaka Securities Exchange, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zambia, and ZCCM-IH. Investors are advised to consult with their investment advisors regarding this potentially price-sensitive information.
