Xilam Animation Returns to Annecy Festival with New Projects
French animation studio Xilam Animation, known for its Academy Award® nomination, is making a notable return to the Annecy International Animation Film Festival from June 8th to 14th, 2025. The studio will present several projects, highlighting its upcoming feature "Lucy Lost" in the 'Work In Progress' sessions. This ambitious family film, based on Michael Morpurgo's 2014 novel "Listen to the Moon," will see exclusive insights shared by CEO Marc du Pontavice, along with key creatives.
Additionally, Xilam will showcase new original series including "Submarine Jim," "Piggy Builders," and "Turbo Twins." The latter series is part of a new collaboration with the broadcaster TF1, targeting children aged 6-10. These activities underscore Xilam's robust production pipeline, supported by partnerships with broadcasters like France Télévisions, BBC, and ZDF.
