On February 17, 2025, Wienerberger AG announced the establishment of Wioniq, a new company that consolidates its smart solution activities. The initiative pools expertise from four companies: Dutch firms Inter Act and I-Real, Sweden's Wideco, and Finland's Slatek. Together, they provide data-driven solutions for water and energy management infrastructure, aiming for significant growth potential.
