Wienerberger Extends Partnership with Habitat for Humanity

Wienerberger AG, a key player in the building industry, continues its commitment to social responsibility by extending its partnership with Habitat for Humanity International. This collaboration, ongoing since 2012, aims to provide sustainable and affordable housing for those in need, particularly in Europe and North America. The renewed three-year agreement will focus on housing projects in countries including Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, the UK, and the USA.

Over the past 12 years, the partnership has successfully supported more than 6,300 individuals, resulting in the construction of over 600 homes. Beyond housing, the initiative also addresses community needs, supporting the development of facilities like centers for people with disabilities and school renovations. Wienerberger's new ESG targets emphasize housing for vulnerable populations and commit to building at least 200 units annually using resource-efficient methods.
