WiBotic Unveils 1kW Wireless Charging System at Automate Show

WiBotic, a leader in wireless charging solutions for robotics, will showcase its innovative 1kW wireless charging system at the upcoming Automate Show in Chicago. The system is designed to enhance the charging efficiency for a broader range of mobile robots, including industrial electric vehicles and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs).

The new 1kW system employs resonant wireless charging technology to deliver power efficiently across greater distances without the need for physical contact. This advancement not only increases safety by eliminating risks from electrical shorts and sparks but also provides operational reliability in harsh conditions such as dust, dirt, and moisture exposure.

Focusing on operational flexibility, the 1kW charger is touted to charge robots three times faster than previous models, facilitating a wide array of applications in industries such as agriculture, mining, and warehouse robotics. This system is complemented by WiBotic’s Commander software, which enables real-time monitoring and management of fleet charging protocols to optimize battery lifespan.

Ben Waters, CEO of WiBotic, emphasized the demand for higher-power wireless charging solutions and expressed confidence that the new system will uphold the ease of use and reliability seen in their existing products. WiBotic has begun accepting advance orders for the new system, with initial deliveries expected in the summer.
