WashTec AG Announces Preliminary 2024 Financial Results
WashTec AG has released its preliminary results for the fiscal year 2024, revealing a mixed performance. The company's revenue is expected to reach €477 million, marking a 3% decrease compared to the previous year. However, the EBIT is projected to surpass €45 million, a 9% improvement from the previous year's €41.9 million, with the EBIT margin increasing to 9.5% from 8.6%.
The fourth quarter was notably strong, becoming the second-highest in the company's history with €142 million in revenue, a 7% increase from Q4 2023. The EBIT for this quarter reached €18 million, reflecting a significant 20% growth compared to Q4 2023.
The return on capital employed (ROCE) rose by approximately 2 percentage points to 24%. In contrast, free cash flow saw a decrease to €39 million, down from €46.1 million in the previous year, attributed to increased trade receivables.
The employee count grew to 1,770 by the end of 2024, a rise of 83 from the prior year. Full financial statements and further guidance will be published in March 2025.
