Walls & Futures REIT PLC Faces General Meeting Call

Walls & Futures REIT PLC has announced a requisition for a general meeting (GM). The call comes from shareholders Venture Finance Limited and Malcolm Jordan, who collectively hold more than 5% of the company's ordinary share capital. The requisition aims to remove Chief Executive Joe McTaggart and Non-Executive Ross Taylor from their positions, proposing Mark Taylor as a new director.

The request also seeks to block the company's planned withdrawal from the AQSE Growth Market, initially announced on April 29, 2025. The board is reviewing the legality of the requisition and anticipates having to convene a GM. Despite the requisition, the board advises shareholders to remain inactive for now, asserting the proposed changes are not beneficial to the company or its investors.
