Walls & Futures REIT PLC Announces Proposed Withdrawal from AQSE Growth Market

Walls & Futures REIT PLC has unveiled plans to withdraw from the AQSE Growth Market. The board concluded that becoming a private company serves the best interests of stakeholders. A general meeting will be arranged to propose the withdrawal of its shares, re-registration, and adoption of new articles of association. A circular detailing these moves is expected shortly.

Since joining AQSE in 2016, the company raised £1 million to invest in specialist supported housing, demonstrating significant growth. However, challenges such as limited liquidity and difficulty securing finance have prompted this strategic shift. The partnership with Vengrove hasn't yielded the expected capital to sustain public trading.

As a private entity, Walls & Futures aims to maintain flexibility and reduce costs while continuing investment in social infrastructure.
