Wacker Neuson Group Opens New Distribution Center in Mülheim-Kärlich
The Wacker Neuson Group, a globally active construction machinery manufacturer, has opened a new parts distribution center in Mülheim-Kärlich. The state-of-the-art logistics site, strategically located between the airports of Frankfurt am Main and Cologne/Bonn, commenced operations in early June 2024 after a construction period of 1.5 years.
The 55,000 m2 warehouse stocks around 100,000 different spare parts for construction equipment and compact machines. It will serve as the global hub for the distribution of spare parts for Wacker Neuson's core brands. This expansion aims to strengthen customer support and secure the company's long-term growth strategy.
Operations at the center emphasize high efficiency and sustainability, featuring automation and digitalization technologies. The building, constructed according to the German Sustainable Building Council standards, includes a photovoltaic system and energy-efficient storage technology. Kühne+Nagel will manage the site operations under the continued partnership with Wacker Neuson Group.
