Vulcan Minerals Inc. Issues Corporate Update
Vulcan Minerals Inc. has announced updates regarding its Gander Belt Gold property. The company, which originally partnered with Sassy Gold Corp in 2021, now reports that option rights have transitioned to Gander Gold Corporation. As part of this agreement, Vulcan will receive 1,000,000 Gander Gold shares by November 11, 2025, instead of a mixed payment of shares and cash initially planned. This will increase Vulcan's holdings in Gander Gold to 1,177,240 shares.
The company has conducted field operations on its Colchester/Springdale, Red Cross Lake, and Carbonear projects, despite delays caused by local forest fires. Vulcan anticipates resuming normal operations and plans further investigations this fall.
In legal news, a lawsuit brought by Geophysical Service Incorporated against Vulcan since 2014 has been discontinued, with Vulcan maintaining the suit had no merit.
