Vulcan Energy Announces Board Changes and New Appointment
Vulcan Energy Resources Limited has announced significant changes to its Board of Directors. The changes are part of the company’s transition to the execution phase of its project development.
Angus Barker will join the Board as Non-Executive Director, effective 13 September 2024. Barker has over 30 years of experience in corporate finance and public company boards, with previous roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, and UBS. He is currently the Chair of Australian Rare Earths Limited and a Non-Executive Director at WAM Capital Limited.
Longest-serving non-executives Gavin Rezos, Annie Liu, and Ranya Alkadamani will retire from the Board during Q4 2024. Rezos, who served as the inaugural Non-Executive Chair, will step down effective 31 December 2024. Liu will retire on 13 September 2024, and Alkadamani on 31 December 2024.
The Board will determine new committee memberships by 31 December 2024.
