R&S Group Invests in Power Transformer Capacity Expansion
R&S Group Holding AG is moving forward with its plan to double the manufacturing capacity of its power transformers in Łódź, Poland. With an investment of over CHF 25 million, this expansion aims to support the transition to renewable energy. The factory, operating under the "ZREW" brand, is expected to be operational by the end of 2026, enhancing production capabilities to 160 MVA and 220 kV.
This project will create approximately 200 new jobs in the Łódź area, offering opportunities for skilled technicians, engineers, and sales professionals. Additionally, public aid has been granted to aid in its establishment within the Łódź Special Economic Zone.
Group CEO, Eduardo Terzi, emphasized on innovation and the role of the Polish team in meeting global infrastructure needs. The expansion reflects R&S Group's commitment to sustainable growth and service excellence.
