VRCCO and Crux Fermentation Project Collaborate for Dogs & Lagers Fest
The Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon (VRCCO) announces its VRCCO Care Fund as the beneficiary of the 2024 Dogs & Lagers Fest. The event, organized by Crux Fermentation Project and Bend Pet Express, will take place on Aug. 24, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Crux Bend Lawn in Bend, Oregon.
The festival will feature live music, local vendors, and offerings from Crux Fermentation Project. Early arriving dogs will receive swag bags from Bend Pet Express. Commemorative tasting mugs will be available for $20, including two beer tokens. Additional tokens can be purchased for $6.50 each.
VRCCO will host an "Ask a Vet" booth to provide advice. A special-edition Mexican Lager, developed in collaboration with Ponch's Place and Crux, will be available. Proceeds will support the VRCCO Care Fund, aiding pets of financially constrained owners in Central Oregon.
The VRCCO Care Fund offers financial aid for medical services to neglected and abused animals with good prognoses. Additional information can be found at the event's and VRCCO's websites.
