Voltabox AG Amends Forecast for 2024 Fiscal Year
Paderborn, August 13, 2024 – Voltabox AG has announced an adjustment to its forecast for the 2024 fiscal year. The primary reason for this change is the restructuring of its subsidiary, GreenCluster GmbH. Due to present market challenges, Voltabox has reduced its trading activities and will now focus on turnkey solutions within the VoltaStore business segment. The company acknowledges that these changes will not fully offset the anticipated lower trading revenues for the current financial year.
In addition, Voltabox AG has responded to the insolvency of a major client in high-voltage battery systems for buses by halting deliveries to avoid potential impairments on receivables. This will impact expected revenues in the VoltaMobil business segment.
As a result, the Management Board now forecasts a revenue of approximately €6 million for the 2024 fiscal year and an EBITDA of around -50%. Details will be provided in the Half-Year Report to be published later today.
