Volcon Named Exclusive U.S. Distributor for Super Sonic Golf Carts

Volcon ePowersports, based in Austin, Texas, has signed an agreement to become the exclusive U.S. distributor for Super Sonic Company Limited’s golf carts. Super Sonic, a subsidiary of AODES, manufactures these vehicles in Vietnam. Volcon's CEO, John Kim, stated the partnership was chosen due to Super Sonic’s strong history in the U.S. market and advantageous production location in Vietnam.

The U.S. golf cart industry faces turmoil due to petitions against Chinese imports, which resulted in tariffs ranging from 149% to 500% on Chinese manufacturers. In contrast, Volcon's Vietnamese imports are subject to a much lower 2.5% tariff, offering a competitive edge.

John Kim also revealed that Super Sonic is developing unique golf cart designs that could impact future market offerings. This agreement has been documented in Form 8-K filed with the SEC.
