VOGO's innovative video refereeing solution is prominently featured during the National Referee Days in France. The French National Handball League (LNH) has implemented this technology for the second consecutive season in the Men’s championship Liqui Moly StarLigue.
The system provides referees comprehensive control over image selection and decision-making via a touchscreen, promoting decisive autonomy without third-party involvement. This reflects a significant progression in French professional handball.
Throughout the last season, this technology was utilised 171 times in 240 matches, underlining its rapid adoption and evident utility. This initiative, supported by handball icon Nikola Karabatic, aligns with LNH's dedication to innovation, enhancing both the game and spectator experience.
