Vita 34 Reports Significant Increases in Earnings and Cash Flow

Vita 34 AG, Europe's leading cell bank, announced a successful first quarter for 2024, with earnings and operating cash flow seeing substantial growth. Revenues rose by 3.6% to EUR 18.6 million. EBITDA climbed over fivefold to EUR 1.5 million, and operating cash flow doubled to EUR 4.0 million. The company attributes this growth primarily to a surge in contract renewals and higher-value product offerings.

Net invoiced services for the B2C sector increased by 13.6%, reaching EUR 18.0 million. Annually recurring payments grew to EUR 5.7 million. CEO Jakub Baran highlighted the introduction of a new key figure intended to clarify corporate development. Gross profit saw a 22.6% rise, reaching EUR 7.0 million.

Despite low birth rates in core markets, increased prices and the opening of a new location in Dubai contributed to revenue growth. The management board confirmed its full-year outlook, expecting revenues between EUR 81 and 88 million and an EBITDA of EUR 6.5 to 8.0 million for 2024.
