FamiCord AG's Subsidiary PBKM to Acquire nOvum Stem Cell Bank

FamiCord AG's Polish subsidiary, Polski Bank Komórek Macierzystych sp. z o.o. (PBKM), has agreed to acquire 100% of nOvum spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, a Warsaw-based stem cell bank. The agreement was signed with the Family Foundation nOvum and Jan Lewandowski.

nOvum specializes in the collection, testing, processing, and storage of cord blood, aligning with the services offered by the FamiCord Group. The transaction's purchase price is a medium single-digit million Euro amount, net of debt at closing, and will be paid in installments over 18 months.

The transaction is subject to standard closing conditions and is expected to conclude by the end of 2025. PBKM will receive ownership upon closing. Financing for the acquisition will come from FamiCord AG's existing credit facilities, ensuring liquidity for the purchase.
