FamiCord AG Reports Strong Growth in Revenue and Earnings for H1 2025
FamiCord AG, Europe's leading cell bank, has announced a significant increase in revenue and earnings for the first half of 2025. The company's revenue grew by 14.6% to €43.6 million compared to the same period last year. EBITDA from continuing operations rose by 36.2% to €5.0 million, underpinning FamiCord's strategic focus on their core business and cost optimization.
Despite challenges in Central Europe and Southern European markets, FamiCord maintained robust demand in Eastern Europe and the GCC region. The company's strategic decision to refocus on stem cell therapies while deprioritizing CAR-T development reflects its commitment to its core competencies.
Operational cash flow experienced a downturn due to high demand for annual payment contracts, impacting short-term cash flow despite setting a strong foundation for future business development. Cash reserves declined following significant market consolidations in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
