VisionHealth Announces Leadership Shift for U.S. Kata® App Launch

VisionHealth GmbH, a leader in digital therapeutics for chronic lung diseases, is making strategic management changes as it prepares for the U.S. launch of its Kata® app. Peter Shadday, previously Chief Business Officer, has been named CEO. Dr. Sabine Häussermann, a founder of the company, transitions to Chief Scientific Officer to advance scientific initiatives and technology development.

The supervisory board highlights this shift as part of VisionHealth's strategy to penetrate the U.S. market, focusing on enhancing the app's potential for asthma and COPD patients. Shadday brings over 30 years of experience in commercial leadership within life sciences to guide VisionHealth's U.S. expansion.

The Kata® app, registered as a Type 1 medical device in the U.S., utilizes AI to optimize inhalation therapy, aiming to improve drug delivery and patient outcomes.
