Viridien Secures Three-Year Contract with Petroleum Development Oman

Paris-based Viridien has announced a three-year contract with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) to provide advanced seismic imaging services. This continued collaboration will take place at Viridien's dedicated processing center in Muscat, Oman.

The center, Viridien's largest globally, will utilize cutting-edge proprietary algorithms to enhance the quality of PDO's seismic data. The complex geological conditions in Oman, including challenging near-surface formations, demand sophisticated technology. Techniques such as high-resolution velocity model building will be crucial for improving subsurface imaging.
