VINCI Energies acquires German group Fernao
VINCI Energies has signed an agreement to acquire Fernao, a leader in cybersecurity in Germany and Switzerland. This group has proforma revenue of around €260 million in 2024 with 770 employees.
Fernao, based in Cologne and present on 26 sites, offers services in IT security, infrastructure management and compliance with European standards. These skills will be integrated under the Axians brand of VINCI Energies.
This acquisition aims to strengthen VINCI Energies in cybersecurity and cloud services in these two countries. Axians generated €3.6 billion in revenue in 2023 in 38 countries.
VINCI Energies, a subsidiary of VINCI, generated total revenue of €19.3 billion in 2023, including more than €4 billion in Germany and Switzerland.
