Vietnam Airlines Launches Direct Ho Chi Minh City–Copenhagen Flights

Vietnam Airlines has inaugurated a nonstop service linking Ho Chi Minh City and Copenhagen, marking the first direct air route between Vietnam and Northern Europe. This development is part of the airline's strategy to expand its European network from 2025 to 2030, catering to increasing tourism, business travel, and trade demands.

The inaugural flight, utilizing a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, carried over 200 passengers and marked a significant milestone. The Ho Chi Minh City-Copenhagen route will operate thrice weekly, improving connectivity and supporting the Vietnamese community, estimated at 70,000 in Northern Europe.

This service not only shortens travel time but also enhances business and cultural opportunities. With direct flights to Northern Europe alongside other destinations like Paris and London, Vietnam Airlines strengthens its position as a key Southeast Asian carrier.
