Vergnet signs its first turnkey photovoltaic contract
Vergnet, a French renewable energy specialist, announces the signing of its first turnkey contract for the installation of a rooftop photovoltaic power plant in Auffargis. This project, financed by Fair Impact Real Estate, marks the beginning of a potential long-term partnership between the two entities.
With a capacity of 178 kWp, the self-consumption installation will serve a warehouse and the hotel site of the Vaux-de-Cernay abbey. Vergnet is pursuing a diversification strategy, supported by requests for quotations exceeding 20 million euros despite recent legislative uncertainties.
The group is currently considering photovoltaic projects in the form of SPVs with premium players. According to Jérôme Gacoin, CEO of Vergnet, this strategy aims to consolidate the company's fundamentals.
