Verbio SE Records Strong Start to 2025/26 and Maintains Forecast

Verbio SE begins fiscal year 2025/26 with notable financial improvements, achieving an EBITDA of EUR 15.4 million, surpassing previous year's and quarter's figures. This positive performance was primarily driven by the Bioethanol/Biomethane and Biodiesel segments, bolstered by increased co-product revenues and a more favorable market recovery.

In the Biodiesel segment, revenues rose to EUR 244.1 million due to higher prices and stable production volumes, while EBITDA increased to EUR 22.6 million. The Bioethanol/Biomethane segment experienced revenue growth to EUR 191.2 million, despite a decrease in European bioethanol production because of maintenance activities. North American markets significantly contributed to the segment's improved earnings.

The company confirms its forecast for the year, expecting a high double-digit million range EBITDA. Though net financial debt rose to EUR 203.8 million, Verbio plans for eventual reduction.
