Vallourec: André Lacerda appointed Director of South America (Tubes Activities)
On June 3, 2024, Vallourec announces the appointment of André Lacerda as Director of the South America region for the Tubes segment. He will therefore join the Group's Executive Committee and will report to Bertrand Frischmann, Director of Americas Operations.
André Lacerda has extensive international experience in the energy sector. He has worked for companies like Weir, Aliaxis and Vesuvius. With more than 30 years of experience in intercultural management, he has worked in Europe, South America and China.
A graduate of UFMG in Brazil and ESCP in France, André Lacerda already worked at Vallourec between 2000 and 2008. Philippe Guillemot, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Vallourec, considers his appointment a major asset for the transformation and development of the company in South America.
