Ur-Energy Announces Leadership Transition with New General Counsel

Ur-Energy Inc., a uranium mining company, announced the retirement of Penne Goplerud, their General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since 2011. Goplerud will retire on January 6, 2026. She has contributed significantly to the company's growth since joining as Associate General Counsel in 2007.

Alex Ritchie will take over the role on the same date. Ritchie's experience spans over 25 years in natural resources law, having held significant positions, including Executive Director of The Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law. His legal career began in 1999, and he is known for his expertise in mining and environmental law.

Ur-Energy's leadership thanks Goplerud for her dedication and views Ritchie's appointment as a step forward in maintaining their strategic focus and compliance standards.
