Ur-Energy Announces Appointment of Vice President Regulatory Affairs

LITTLETON, CO / ACCESSWIRE / March 28, 2024 / Ur-Energy Inc. (NYSE American: URG) (TSX: URE), also known as "Ur-Energy," officially announced the appointment of Ryan S. Schierman as the company's Vice President Regulatory Affairs.

John Cash, Ur-Energy Chairman and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about Schierman's addition to the team, highlighting his respected background as a former regulator and his expertise in regulatory compliance and environmental health and safety. Schierman's role will focus on leading the EHS department as the company advances its Shirley Basin ISR facility and pursues further growth.

Ryan Schierman comes to Ur-Energy with a wealth of experience, having held various management positions, including at Fluor/Idaho Environmental Coalition with the US Department of Energy, and in the uranium recovery industry. His work has been instrumental in regulatory relations and compliance, making significant contributions to the industry. Schierman holds a B.S. in Environmental Science, a M.Sc. in Health Physics, and is a Certified Health Physicist.
