Unity Environmental University Announces Employee Minimum Wage Pay Increase

Unity Environmental University, based in New Gloucester, ME, announced a significant increase in employee compensation. Effective July 1, 2024, the minimum annual salary for full-time, benefit-eligible employees in Maine will rise to $50,000. This change underscores the university's commitment to its staff, aiming to provide a comfortable living standard in Maine.

The university will also implement an average raise of 7% for all employees. Maine-based hourly employees will see their minimum wage increase to $23 per hour.
