Uniper SE Revises Earnings Outlook for 2024 Following Provision Release

Uniper SE has announced an upward revision of its earnings forecast for 2024 due to the release of provisions linked to settled legal disputes. This adjustment will reflect positively in the company's fourth-quarter results for 2024. Despite this improvement, the anticipated earnings remain significantly lower than the exceptional figures recorded in the previous year.

Uniper projects an Adjusted EBITDA between EUR 2.5 billion and EUR 2.8 billion, alongside an Adjusted Net Income ranging from EUR 1.5 billion to EUR 1.8 billion for 2024. These figures contrast with the EUR 7.164 billion and EUR 4.432 billion reported in the prior year, respectively. These figures are preliminary and unaudited, with detailed results scheduled for release on February 26, 2025.
