Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. to Issue Subordinated Eurobond Abroad

Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. (Garanti BBVA) has announced plans to issue U.S. dollar-denominated subordinated notes. These Basel III compliant notes will target institutional investors residing outside Turkey. To facilitate this issuance, Garanti BBVA has enlisted several financial institutions including Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, Merrill Lynch International, Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Societe Generale, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Mashreqbank, ING Bank, and SMBC Bank International.

The bank emphasized that, in any discrepancy between the Turkish and English versions of this announcement, the Turkish version will have precedence. The bank assures stakeholders of the accuracy and completeness of the disclosed information as per regulatory standards. This move aligns with the bank's strategic objectives to expand its international financial footprint.
