TRON DAO Announces HackaTRON Season 6 Qualifiers

Geneva, Switzerland, June 11, 2024 – With HackaTRON Season 6 coming to a close, the TRON DAO, in collaboration with HTX DAO, BitTorrent Chain (BTTC), and JustLend DAO, showcased a series of innovations transforming the blockchain landscape. Participants across Web3, DeFi, Artistry, Builder, and Integration tracks created unique projects, advancing the digital frontier.

Over 1,100 participants joined HackaTRON Season 6, contributing projects on TRON’s interface. The prize pool totaled $650,000, including $500,000 in TRX, TRON’s native utility token, and $150,000 in energy for subsidizing transactions and smart contracts on the TRON network.

Engaging prestigious sponsors like ChainGPT, Solidus AI Tech, Ankr, and others, this season fostered a productive environment for blockchain enthusiasts. The competition concluded with winners selected by judges and the community.

The top judge-selected winners received awards ranging from $25,000 to $6,000, while community-selected winners earned prizes from $7,000 to $3,000, recognizing excellence across all tracks. This initiative highlighted the active participation and innovative spirit within the TRON community.
