Triton Partners to Acquire Flender from Carlyle

Triton Partners is set to acquire Flender from Carlyle, as announced on June 3, 2026. Flender, headquartered in Bocholt, Germany, is a leading provider of mechanical drive technology, serving a broad range of industrial and wind power applications. The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals. The financial terms were not disclosed.

Flender, with a 125-year engineering heritage, operates across 34 countries with over 8,000 employees. Under Carlyle, who acquired Flender from Siemens in 2021, the company expanded its global footprint and reinforced its market leadership, particularly in wind and industrial drive technologies.

Triton Partners, with significant expertise in the industrial tech sector, views Flender as central to its investment strategy.
