Travis Perkins Appoints Pete Redfern as CEO

Travis Perkins plc has announced the appointment of Pete Redfern as Chief Executive Officer, effective from September 16, 2024. Pete succeeds Nick Roberts, who will step down on the same day.

Pete Redfern brings over two decades of experience in the construction sector, notably serving as Group Chief Executive of Taylor Wimpey plc for 14 years. His accomplishments include transforming Taylor Wimpey into one of the UK's largest housebuilders and elevating it to the FTSE 100.

Jez Maiden, Interim Chair, expressed confidence in Pete’s ability to drive operational efficiency and enhance shareholder value. Pete, having also served as a Non-Executive Director at Travis Perkins for nine years, is well-acquainted with the Group’s potential.

Pete Redfern stated his initial focus will be on improving operational execution and efficiency. He looks forward to working with the executive team to leverage opportunities in the changing environment and deliver significant value for shareholders.
