Travis Perkins Appoints Geoff Drabble as Chair (Designate)

Travis Perkins plc has announced the appointment of Geoff Drabble as a Non-Executive Director and Chair (designate) effective from 1 October 2024. Drabble brings extensive experience from his previous roles in the building materials distribution and equipment hire sectors.

Currently, Drabble is Chair of Ferguson plc and DS Smith Plc and has held executive positions such as Group Chief Executive of Ashtead Group plc. His expertise is expected to contribute significantly to Travis Perkins as it aims to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

The interim Chair, Jez Maiden, expressed his satisfaction with Drabble’s appointment, highlighting his successful track record at senior executive and non-executive levels. Drabble himself is enthusiastic about working with the new CEO Pete Redfern and CFO Duncan Cooper to drive the company's growth and value creation.

Drabble’s remuneration will adhere to the existing Directors’ Remuneration Policy. He will initially receive an annual fee of £64,272, which will increase to £350,000 upon assuming the Chair position.
