Touchstone Exploration Update: Lapsing of Acquisition
The board of directors of Touchstone Exploration Inc. (Touchstone) has noted Trinity's announcement that the Trinity board is seeking the Court's permission to formally withdraw the Scheme. The hearing is scheduled for September 25, 2024.
The Touchstone Board confirms it will not pursue the Acquisition through a Takeover Offer for Trinity Shares as an alternative. The Acquisition will lapse immediately upon Court approval of the Scheme withdrawal.
Paul Baay, President and CEO of Touchstone, expressed disappointment with the process's outcome but reaffirmed that Touchstone will maintain strict discipline in corporate activities. Touchstone plans to continue its operations and updates shareholders on strategic and operational progress in the coming months.
